Saving firefox bookmarks into windows shortcuts?

does anyone know how to save firefox bookmarks into windows shortcuts a la IE?
help... i'm stuck... lol.

Go to your bookmarked page...minimize your window so you can see your desktop, while on your bookmarked page click and hold on the favicon which is right beside the URL address bar and drag it out onto your desktop, that should create a shortcut to the bookmarked page! :) Hope that helps :thumbsup:

You could also used this tool:

The links in the post above work for Firefox 2.x, but most people are using 3.x. There is no "bookmarks.html" file in Firefox 3.x. The conversion can be done but I forget how I did it.
