how did you know where the torch handover between bearers will occur? i didn't end up getting any shots of it. I am referring to today in Vancouver

They have markers along the route... yellow sticker on a lamp post at the location. Friend of mine did a segment starting at 41st & Nanaimo today...

I chased. I parked my car nearby the route and when the torch passed, I would run back to the car and speed through the backroads to get ahead of it again.

I tried to get some pictures at UBC tonight, but decided to do just video. There were too much people, too crowded, and the rain hit hardest when it passed by (I was standing where the trolley bus loop is)

I chased. I parked my car nearby the route and when the torch passed, I would run back to the car and speed through the backroads to get ahead of it again.

I basically walked there, and ran to diagonally cut across to catch up with the flame again.. most running that I've ever done to take a photo..

Oh man I got a pretty good spot but waited for over an hour. It was completely packed.. and like you said the rain got me to put my 50D in a damn plastic bag :@ And I only got 3 good pics out of it :(

Oh and I was pretty choked on my way home on 10th and Blanca when the rain stopped haha
