So I picked up the powergym pull up bar from walmart put it together just now and when I fit it on to the door it creaks when I hang on to it. I'm a lightweight and way under the weight suggested in the instruction. I know some of u guy must have the same bar, does that happen to u guys too? Bad bar or weak door? It only makes that noise when I firt put all my weight on it seem to be quiet when I attempt a few pull ups it seems to be slient. I don't want my door to break though after a few days....

Same problem I got man mines nit the same brand but it still makes a little noise when I hang and pull up but I just ignored it and nothing has happened yet, so hopefully nothing does. But what I noticed is that on the other side of the door if u look on top it seems like it was kind of cracking the paint on my door basically pulling down the other side sort of nothing is noticable but if I touch it then u can sort if notice it's hard to describe hope that helped.

i put mine up in the door frame, my 280lbs friend came over and was doing chinups on it lol... well above suggested weight limit i think and no problems!

Great thanks feels uneasy when my dog wouldn't stop staring at the door frame when I do my pull ups I can rest assure now.
