Im gonna go around downtown on a photowalk and take pics of the vancouver scene during the olympics tomorrow. Anyone without a significant other or dont have valentines to worry about wanna join on the walk? prolly go in the early afternoon and walk around till it gets dark and check out the concert at live city yaletown. Gonna hit up the first nations pavilion, up and down granville, livecity yaletown, the torch. and burrard bridge for some lights.

ps anyone knw the exact location of the olympic flame? lol its around pan pacific i think.

RS mini photo meet! Tons of ppl and tourists w/ cameras down there these few days. great opportunity to get some pics without getting stared at for pointing a big lens at someone! Should prolly meet at Yaletown round house station then make our way up granville to first nations then up to waterfront or hop on the train there, then at night make our way back to the concert at yaletown livecity.

man my photo journalistic photo taking abilitie has gone to shits after doing commercial work. You use like a totally different eye to see things, either that or because i dont rapid fire anymore and wait for that 'perfect' moment then miss a bunch of things. Lol totally different ballgame.

Didn't end up going down there until 10:45pm. Got to shoot some of the light show from N end of Robson Square. Had the tripod set up and all -- good fun!

I had a wicked day down there today. Walked around downtown, then went to the vicotry ceremony + Nelly Furtado concert at the end. Then after went to Robson Square to shoot the light show (no tripod though as I already had enough to carry with me), then walked down to see the giant torch that Wayne lit up at the beginning of the Olympics. Shot over 450 frames, so it will take me a while to edit, especially that I'm going downtown again tomorrow to see the free Matisyahu concert, and that just means more photos to edit, again... lol
