Which one is the remote wire?

i have a panasonic CQC5305U

i'm having trouble finding which on is the remote wire for my amp,

i see a blue/white stripe one on the back of my deck that is connect to the harness and leads off somwhere....

thought that was the one but i'm not sure.

can anyone help me?

update* the blue/whitestripe is connected to a harness bluewire(has the labelling power antenna)

Blue/white is the amplifier turn on wire. Solid blue triggers a power or powered antenna. If you don't have a solid blue wire then the blue with white stripe is fine to turn on the amp and/or the antenna.

If the blue/white is labelled antenna turn on then there should be a solid blue wire for remote turn on.

If you hook up the amp to antenna turn on, then your amp will only turn on when you have the AM/FM radio on, not when the CD is playing

hmm, ok. so what i have is a Blue/white stripe coming out of my deck which is connected to a Harness wire (which is solid blue)

The Solid blue wire on the harness is labeled power antenna


but yeah.. there are no other blue wires coming out of my deck
only that blue/white striped one

Typical of Panasonics. Some decks don't have an antenna wire so you would be fine to use the blue/white to turn on the amp AND the antenna.

What kind of car is it?

a 97 integra.

Wiring up a 4 channel amp, putting in type-s components for the front and type-s for the rear.

man routing wires nicely thru the molex in the doors were such a pain in the ass! XD

Yes, those molexes are a big pain in the arse! We do them every day but they are still annoying as hell!
