FS: 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback DX low kms - $1200

Up for sale is our beloved honda hatch back. We've been the third owners since about 5 years ago. It's super reliable and never broken down once during the time we had it. We are selling because we upgraded to another car.

The good:

- only 208,000 kms low kms (avg 10,000 per year)
- oil changed every 5,000km
- timing belt changed (the second time) at about 160,000km
- first owner had it until 120,000km then traded to toyota, second owner bought from toyota dealership and sold it to me at 130,000km
- mechanically sound
- 5 spd
- has immobilizer
- white in color

The bad:

- it was involved in an accident about 6 mos ago, and the rear quarter panel has been bent
- might need a new battery soon
- clutch is okay but might need to be replace in a year or two
- speedometer works sometimes, doesn't work other times

This car is ideal for someone who is starting to learn how to drive manual. The reason we are selling it so cheap is because of the accident mentioned (still have not been repaired) and the other minor stuff but that's reflected in the asking price. As for the battery, I'm sure you can goto the junk yard and buy one for less than $50 dollars

Also, this car is eligible for Recycle-your-ride program, which either gets you a full year's worth of bus tickets or up to $3300 credit when you trade it in (must be insured for a year). So you can buy this car, drive it for a year, and then upgrade to a new one and they'll give you up to $3300 for it.
