Hey i need help
I've been trying to figure out how to type simplified Chinese using changjie code not pingyin. Is it even possible? because the person I'm trying to set the computer up for doesn't know pingyin and doesn't know traditional chinese.

thanks

how can someone not know how to read traditional when they know simplified?
what version of win7 do you have, if it's english version of ultimate they can change it.

if that person came from mainland china, he/she will learn to read and write in SIMPLIFIED. next time keep those smartass comments to urself, or else it'll make u look really stupid.

haha didn't mean to offend anyone
but while i am at it, i guess i am stupid to think that after 2 generations of brainwashing people would still be able to read traditional characters.

what version of Windows 7? i thought that you had to ADD the language packs on if you installed the OS as english the first time, just like Vista needed to have the languages added.

If you know Simplified Chinese, chances are you will automatically know how to read Traditional Chinese

however, knowing traditional, doesn't mean you know simplified. I know traditional, but can't recognize simplified to save my life.

Not sure if this helps, but maybe upgrading to Win 7 Ultimate will help

(Bottom - MUI Language Packs)

Otherwise, maybe downloading NJStar Communicator will help

does that mean if we all know a-z, we'll automatically know french? italian? etc etc.
