: Why YOU should shop from The Blackmarkers

Many of you have heard about who we are and what we sell, but do you know WHY you should shop with us and not with the competitors?

Depending on which competitor you are comparing us against, it will either be an actual retail store or another online store. If it's a retail store, we most likely will have a better price on the same styles. If it's another online store, it probably is from out of Canada.

First reason why you should shop with us is PRICE
We are able to provide better pricing compared with other retail stores.

Another reason why you should buy from us is because WE ARE CANADIANS!
*Did you know clothing that is made outside of Canada, US, or Mexico gets charged a Duty of 17% and then with tax on top!
*On top of that you might get charged brokerage for shipping items into Canada.
*You still get charged Duty even if the item is a gift, as long as it is over $10!
*Customs might examine your package in which it could take forever to arrive.

So next time when you are shopping on a Non-Canadian Site, remember to factor in all the EXTRAS before you make your order!

FLAT RATE $4.99 Expedited shipping and super easy return policy!
Yes that's right. Flat rate shipping on any order to anywhere in Canada for only $4.99. That is expedited shipping with tracking, insurance, and signature confirmation so you will never lose your package.

And of course, if in case anything doesn't fit, or you just don't want it anymore, returning is super easy!

Click below to find out more reasons why you should shop with The Blackmarkers!

I first thought the title said BlackMarkets and continued to read based it was a joke on illegal companies uniting trying to coax ppl to buy from them.

but now I clicked on your site and still liked what I saw. either way..

Good luck with biz!!

Graphic tees with dumb, loud pictures on them are going out of style just like skinny jeans and trucker hats. Anyone in the fashion industry knows that.

Nobody over the age of 25 with a decent income is going to spend money on a shirt that screams in huge letters...."SO FRESH!!" No kid under the age of 25 will be able to afford the prices you demand on a regular basis. So you may be able to sell 1 t-shirt to them. Hardly enough to sustain a business. And no parent is going to buy their kid a shirt that says...."Honor amongst thieves" or earrings that look like drug capsuls.

Start selling clothing that young professionals can wear on a daily basis is all sorts of social settings and your business might improve. Also, remove the price slashes on your website. It looks tacky and makes the customer think that you may slash the prices again, so they'll hold off on buying.

You need to have a measurement of all the sizes because sometimes a M can fit like a S and etc....

I placed an order yesterday, when will it be shipped out?

That's exactly how I felt when I went to the site. I'm not gonna wear a suit at work then come home and put on some flashy shirt with a dumb catchphrase on it. Well.. to each their own I guess. Good luck with the business.

listing the reasons wont help much. they can't change the major ones.

I wouldn't shop there for a few reasons

1: I've only heard of one brand that they sell
2: shipping costs. They may be less than they used to be, but they're more then driving to the store
3: Fitment. This adds to #2. If something doesn't fit, and we all know diffrent brands have different sizes, you have to send it back, and the shipping cost add up
4: time. This again goes with #3. If i want clothes, I can go to a store and try them on, purchase, and wear that day. Online, it can take a week to get the stuff, and if it doesn't fit, add 2 weeks to get the proper fit in, which may or may not be the right size.
5: price. All the online shopping I see out of the states is less than half price to comparable stuff on this site. I have actually heard of the stuff from the american stores however. I can still go to West 49 and get brand name stuff for cheaper than this site.

I'm sure there are more reasons why It's easier, cheaper and faster to go to the mall or random store to buy clothes, but my small list should be enough.

I didn't want to bash the site, just trying to clear up some concerns people are having.

Everyone to their own... The store obviously isn't aimed at you. Every store has their own market. Would you go to boys co to buy hip hop trends?

Just playing devils advocate here but they obviously have a paid partnership with revscene and are just advertising their store... It's no different than those banners you see.

You guys clearly know nothing about this target market or really, fashion in general.

1. Not their fault you aren't involved in the streetwear market.

2. If you shop online at say, Karmaloop, the prices will be the same, but in US dollars and with higher shipping costs. Have you ever shipped anything? Shirts at a minimum, cost about 5$ to ship.

3. The same goes for anywhere online.

4. The same goes for anywhere online.

5. Their prices are perfectly reasonable for what they're selling. They don't just make up the prices out of thin air. Have fun wearing sweet West 49 gear!

except the people that are into streetwear knows that karmaloop is a fucking joke and this store is following close behind it.

So please stop thinking LRG, Crooks, and Creative Recreation is considered streetwear.

im just going to name a few brands off the top of my head

Supreme
Neighborhood
Maiden Noir
Huf
Wtaps
Black Scale

these brands haven't sold out and they are moving on to better stuff where as the brands that karmaloop and blackmarkers sell are still printing colorful graphic tshirts like its still 2006.

Wow didn't follow up with this thread, or this forum at all for a while. Been busy developing a brand new site.

Anyways, any feedback is a good feedback.

And yes we do listen and try to improve.

A note about karmaloop, we don't like them, we don't like how they do business, but hey, they made 60mill in annual sales last year.
