i kind of like my neighborhood. As a hobby i hang aluminum pans outside on my balcony. Nobody complained and it seems to makes a lot of noise. it has even attracted my weird ass neighbor, he's fascinated with the pan- sometimes i see him walk up my stairs and just stare at it and maybe even take some pictures.

I love my new neighbourhood. So quiet and convenient. Larger than Vancouver East End lots. Close to bus route, skytrain, SFU, golf course, etc.

Surrounded by Italian families (really, really nice people) and a smattering of Asians (not too much). Well manicured lawns (except mine, but working on it). Only noise at night is the occasional asshole with loud exhaust.

It's different from my old neighbourhood of Walnut Grove (Korean invaded white suburbia).

I've been welcomed to the neighbourhood. First one to officially welcome me was this voluptuous Italian chick (mid to late twenties). Started off on a positive right there.

What makes the neighbourhood so nice, I think, is the fact that most of the houses do not have illegal suites. Although my home is brand new, the homes around me are older, but well maintained. Lots of pride in the neighbourhood, from what I can see. I really lucked out with my new home. My wife looked for over a year, before we decided on this place we now call home.

but my neighborhoods pretty chill. the occasional excitement and I had some crazy people living in my basement getting the cops in front of my house but its still a nice place. aside from the meth lab down the street but that's gone now. and there's only usually squirrels and birds but bears do come and eat chips from the garbage. there's also these eastern europeans who rented out rooms to probably many illegal immigrants but that's only one big house. my back alley has more craters then the moon but its okay because there's this asian lady who has a garage sale in her backyard EVERY weekend. its all good though

Do the same your neighbour only 10x worse. If they put one pan out, u put 10pans out and make sure ypu put it close to her house to annoy her. Btw you can be as loud as you want till I think 10 or 11pm depending on the area you live in so just crank up the stero with max sum woffer on and place it on the floor. If she complains then let her know when she stop haning her pan outsdie you stop the noise.

And why my friend came over and parked his car in front of my garage, in the alley, he actually called the city and tried to get his car towed because it was 0.4m too close to his driveway, (by-law is 5m) instead of telling me to move it, and I was working on my car at that time so I was right next to my friends car. This guy is a complete jackass. Whenever one of my other neighbours have a party, he would sit at his dinner table watching the clock, as soon as it strikes 11pm he would call the cops. This guy seriously needs to grow a pair.

My area real good now that the guy that likes to hang out in his backyard and jump BUMP mexican music at weird times. I understand having a good time but wtf are u doin havin a bbq and just blastin ur mexican music at 4am. I got nothin against mexicans but that music has kept me awake for soo long.

Also there's an old man that always complains when I park in the back alley right in front of my garage. He says that he can park his car in his garage cause of me even tho he is the neighbour behind and one to the right of me. This guys just swings the whole lenght of the alley to even park his small ass Echo.

Although my condo is pretty nice, it still sucks. My building has a zero tolerance for working on cars in the underground. Something I completely understand and agree with... to a point. But when I went to change the plugs on my g/f's car, I caught some major flack. No oil change or anything messy. Just a simple plug change. :( Sigh... I long for the day when I'll have a garage. Especially because then, I won't have to park beside my parking challenged neighbours. Fuck, Helen Keller could park better than my neighbours. Underground parking sucks balls.

We have such a mix of people in our building too. It's just too bad the resident managers are a couple of old farts, and huge dicks. Everytime I've had to deal with them, they ALWAYS say to me that I need to talk to my landlord... Fuck, why is it so hard to believe that I own my place?
