Radio gets a caller that fails at job interviews:
here's a brief transcript:

- Interview for a Shipping Clerk position at 9ish in Hong Kong, girl lives in Tin Sui Wai (equivalent of say... Coquitlam or Surrey to DT). Requests the employer to push the interview to a later time, employer says no. Girl dosen't get why the employer has to be such a dick about it.

- Gets to the office, becomes upset because the person that opens the door for her is not the person interviewing her... so she decides to go downstairs for a coffee, since she believes that she needs the extra boost in energy when it is so early in the day.

- She then continues to complain about how early the interview time was, and gets back to the office at 9:40-10ish (she's not sure herself), where the receptionist asks her why she is late, and refuses to let her do the interview. The girl continues to state that she isn't late, since the company's boss isn't even in the office yet.

- Girl gets frustrated and tries to leave her "RESUME" (not re-su-may, RE-SOOM :haha:). At this point the radio DJs are getting confused, don't understand wtf a "RE-SOOM" is, think's she pressed a button or something. Girl DJ tries to correct her by saying "re-su-may", but girl says that re-su-may is american english, whereas RE-SOOM is British English

FACEPALM AT 4:30 :facepalm:

- At this point in time (after 4:30), the DJs have had it with her and just decides to screw around with her with several chinese jokes (I don't know how to translate that...)

- Girl says that as she left, the receptionist tells her that they never arrange interviews at 9:30, and instead, they should have arranged for 9:40 (which she states she was there at... she THINKS). the DJ staff's big WTF Flag gets raised and asks her if she has checked her e-mail at all.

- After that, they just bite the bullet and save the laughter for later, and promote an upcoming job fair organized by the government.



But basically yeah, it's just a big cluster-FAIL that many screwed up HK girls have nowadays

I've never figured out why people do this.

Some people have a medical condition where they are very very sensitive to bright lights. At the retina in the inside back of your eye, you have two types of light sensing cells - rods and cones, which are sensitive to either low intensity light or high intensity light. In some rare people, the amount of rods is much more than the cones, resulting in everything they see being much brighter than it should be. Imagine walking around and every light (possibly) looking like how we look at the sun in mid-day. Wearing shades helps them deal with this (obviously the sun analogy is an extreme example but you get the point).
