Car is officially for sale now-1991 Honda Civic SiR. The car is complete and stock just as it was when it came off the assembly line minus the original wheels and owners manual. Spent a year and a half looking for this ultra clean 68k SiR with rare optional sunroof, after looking for a clean DA for 3 months and not finding a single one. The car is inspected and registered and is fun to drive. MUST go to good home. Current pics coming soon, a couple posts down there are pics of the car sitting in the port in Japan.

The good:

068,000kms
Ultra clean interior and exterior complete with all decals and badging
No accidents or respray
Rare optional sunroof
Still has original brake pads/belts/hoses etc.
Functioning climate control, power folding mirrors, power windows/sunroof etc
Not chopped up, riced, or raced. Untouched and original.
No winter driving
I would personally grade the car at 9 out of 10
People will constantly ask you if its the original paint, then question you when you tell them yes.
Even the leather wrapped steering wheel and the pedal pads show hardly any signs of use

The bad:

Some snags in the headliner
One cigarette burn on drivers seat
Small tear in the dashpad on passenger side
Drivers floormat showing some signs of wear
Typical door dings and a few chips
Small crease in the filler panel below the taillights
Moderate oil leak from VTEC solenoid
Probably will need timing belt sooner rather than later as it is the original from 1991

Asking price is $9999 now $8000 now $7900-now $7700-now $7000 car must now sell and price reflects this. Selling this car is a last resort to solving my financial situation. I AM TARGETING A VERY NICHE MARKET AND IVE PERSONALLY NEVER SEEN ANOTHER EF, THIS CLEAN-EVER, INCLUDING SHOW CARS. IT HAD 049,000KMS WHEN I GOT IT, AND THE 19K IVE PUT ON IS MOSTLY DRIVING TO SHUSWAP LAKE AND BACK IN THE WARM BC SUN. THEY ARE NOW CONSIDERED "RARE" IN JAPAN, AND LIKE THE DA9, THE CLEAN ORIGINAL EXAMPLES ARE PRETTY MUCH EXTINCT.

Pics added. The full size images are from March 08 sitting at the docks in Japan waiting to be rolled on-the car is fairly dirty and had been sitting for quite some time. The thumbnails are from August 08, Hot Nite In the City car show in Kamloops.

Bump for amazing condition '91. Very hard to find good, clean, original cars these days even in Japan!

it's cool that it's jdm and all, but 10g's for an EF? you could buy an ITR for that price
it's still a 19 year old civic, any way you look at it

guess thats why it says obo. obviously not your car of choice but some do seek after finds like these, sorta like the guy who wants $5,000 for an EF shell thats mint. ive seen one itr for 10g. a car like this is probly better appreciated on honda-tech or somethin like that

see if that works...just trying to help out...

Bump for the cleanest EF9 I've ever seen. Not to mention its been kept by an extremely meticulous honda guy. Hopefully it goes to a good home!

as if it was in a time capsule.. damn son..

reminds me of a 91 DX model.. 5000kms on it.. they wanted 6k for it.. XD locally too!

makes your SIR a steal considering its a more desirable model.

I love ITR's but I gaurantee you will find 19 clean untouched original ITR's for25k and one raced/riced one for 10k, before you will ever see another immaculate EF9 Civic. Likely you could be a Honda guy your whole life and never lay eyes on a real EF9.

tofu1413. I remember that car, it caused some mass confusion. People were torn because it was a DX but on the other hand it had crazy low mileage. Almost like an ugly chick with an amazing body

if i was in the market for an EF and was a perfectionist... i'd just get your SIR instead of buying that DX auto + strip + mod.

besides, I for one never even heard of a HB SiR... i know there are CRX SiR's though.. that shows how rare this car is!

GLWS bro

In original post there should be a little red X in a white box, and right after that it says click the X for pictures. Seems to work...goes straight to his photobucket album for the car

On firefox browsers, they do not show broken images. Only IE shows that red x
