Hey,

Im doing a research paper on customer loyalty programs for my service marketing class and would appreciate your help in filling out this quick survey.

This survey will help identify the weaknesses in commonly used loyalty programs. Using your help, I can gain a certain demographic to show which loyalty programs are more effective over the others.

Its only 10 questions so it will literally only take you like 2 minutes. Just click on this link and it will take you right to the survey.

took it

u should probably have an option for "other" in the options for stores we shop @ or are members of

considering stores like t&t and how many people prefer shopping at small markets instead

Done, best of luck on your paper!

For the question that asks how long you've been a customer here, there should be an option saying "Am currently not a customer" or something... as I've never shopped at Costco before.

but overall i think it's a flawed survey. Survey needs to include everyone. if you are looking to sample a particular group with special interest. u just exclude everybody else that doesnt fit by having a question like "Do you shop? yes or no"

Done as well. Let us know how you do. What is it specifically you're researching about customer loyalty?

Thanks for everyones input!

Done as well. Let us know how you do. What is it specifically you're researching about customer loyalty?

My research is to compare different types of loyalty programs to see which are more effective than others and as well as finding evidence that some loyalty programs don't actually facilitate more loyalty from customers (ie: increased buying frequency, spending more per visit, ect.

What is the true nature behind customer loyalty? Is it the actual programs themselves or the products/services the store offers?

If anyone has the answer to that... let me know ;)

I believe customer loyalty is greatly diminished due to the internet. We are most loyal to our wallet. With price comparison readily available, 9/10 would choose the cheapest or best value and not which company they purchase from (given that the companies are of similar reputation). Sites like RedFlagDeals are very successful because people are tired of being gouged by big corporations. Thus they actively seek deals and will not hesistate to change who they purchase from if a better deal can be obtained elsewhere.

Price

Service (before and after purchase, return policy)

Convenience (location, speed of checkout, hours, etc.)

= people will go back
