Spaghetti with Spicy Meat Sauce (our great meat sauce with that extra zing)

Spaghetti with Clam Sauce (plump butter clams in a white sauce - a favorite of Italian fisherman)
$1.95
Spaghetti with Mushroom Sauce (terrible tender mushrooms, sauted in butter and swimming in authentic Italian tomato sauce)

(Strictly Ameticano - and delectable) (bringing it back for ONE DAY)
$1.95
Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce (dee e lightful)

$1.95
Pot Pouri - Spaghetti with a portion of Meat, Mushroom, Clam Sauces (a sampler for the undecided - generous portions of our most popular sauces)

But I work literally about 20 steps from there, so... might try to go there for lunch.

For $1.75 it's still a rip off. I'm still baffled to this day how Spaghetti Factory is in business. They have some of the worst food in town. Tasteless and just horrible. But if you're ever so curious go for it.

good luck getting in there.
I find that most ppl dunno that their pasta comes with coffee/tea. I see so many ppl say no when the waitress asks if they want coffee or tea.

Not worth it even though it's only $1.95.

To OSF's credit, if all proceeds are to charity, I would say that it is worth it.

My bad, forgot that it was going towards charity, that is worth it then but the food is still nasty and I wouldn't pay $1.95 if it was going towards just OSF. :lol

I understand for the price and what you get in terms of quantity it's sounds like a steal. However, when $1.75 gets you something that has a quality rating of 1 out of 10 or negative if I could even rate it that then even at $0.01 it's a rip. Also considering you have to get your ass down to one of their locations to eat such horrible food in itself is a waste.

I think your missing the point of it being for charity .. so techically your doing it for a good cause and getting a free meal.. btw the food cant be that bad.. you make it sound likes its not edible.. XD

by the way wats wrong with anton?
i tried one of the popular pasta place near yaletown, with huge lobster. Someone on RS posted many times, i forgot the name, Armorcardo or some shit like that
Sure that place is good, but not enough for me to say antons was -10, yaletown one was +20. Know wat i mean??

besides beverages, pasta at a restaurant contains the highest markup. At $1.95 with soup or salad, bread, tea, etc, OSF is still making good coin. It's great that they are donating proceeds to charity, but in terms of their pasta, it's nothing to get excited about/

It tastes like something you can buy at Safeway and make yourself.
Actually, the pasta and sauces you can buy at Safeway taste better.

my only question is how the hell do they survive?????
i mean antons is packed...this ? gets horrible review lol
i guess red sauce pasta is fairly easy
cook pasta in boiling water, prepare sauce. tomatoe sauce in a can, stir fry some ground beef, mushroom, chunks of tomatoe and add some spice to it. DONE!
my only question is how the hell do they survive?????
i mean antons is packed...this ? gets horrible review lol
^ You are so gullible.
Some strangers on RS tell you this and that, and you just believe it all.
Have some self-respect. Don't make their opinions your opinions. Formulate your own. How about actually visiting the restaurant first?
I'm not endorsing the restaurant at all. I'm endorsing you using the brain your mom gave you.

Because their food is cheap, and profit margins on pasta are good. Plus a lot of people have really low standards.

nah usually im a repeat customer. I dont really try new restaurants, unless friends or relatives recommand one. Or reading decent reviews on a certain restaurant, than im more than willing to give it a try.

I understand the charity aspect to it and it's great. For me personally though I would rather donate money on my own to a charity rather than to go down there and eat their crap.
Mugen - I'm not sure how they surivive but it's food we're talking about and everyone has different opinions. Doesn't matter what place we're talking about whether it's a hole in the wall, fine dining, or whatever. There will always be people who like it and people who don't. With this joint i'm a hater, some will agree some won't. So my suggestion will be go try it out and find out for yourself.

I'm not saying they serve dog shit but have you tried their pasta? It's horrible!!! I gave them three tries and that was it. I don't even know why I even went back to try it. Oh right, once was a friend's birthday dinner and one was because it was near the swimming facility around the Richmond Silver city. I never understood how all the locations can make the food taste the same. Same as in not good. I give them points for keeping the "standard" there.

Okay, I remember the one time I was a bit adventurous, I chose the Spaghetti with Browned Butter and Mizithra Cheese, ala Homer, and it was the worst decision ever.
But the other times that I've had some of their more normal spaghetti selections... it was palatable. Don't think it was gourmet by any means, but I didn't have any qualms with swallowing it and holding it down.

considering it has 3 ingredients i dont think your a fan of the cheese (which i think is fucking awesome) or browned butter (which can leave you with heavy heartburn)

Is it supposed to taste really salty? I think that was the main problem I had with it... incredibly salty. I didn't particularly like the taste either...
I don't know about browned butter, but I do like cheese... considering how much pizza I eat.

Yes.
Mizithra is good. My grandpa makes homemade stuff when I go back to greece.
browned butter is litteraly melted butter until it turns brown.

Blows my mind what people will wait for thats either Cheap or Free nowadays.
The Olympics blew my mind as well.
Is it the money is so hard to come by nowadays, or that people are just plain cheap? I would never waste my time to wait 3 hours for some cheap pasta that I would make better myself at home.
wow a 3hr wait? really?
people are willing to waste 3 hours of their life to save $10 on shitty food?
you're paying yourself $3 an hour to stand.
unbelievable.

Time is not something people value until they r running out
My relatives r willing to drive all the way across town to save 50 cents. I tried to explain to them that time wasted + gas is more than the 50 cents they saved. They never get it.

Made reso's wait time was 10minutes for me and my friends :D
The meal was great because it only cost me 1.75..
But food wise, it was horrible.. dont understand why they would make the food so shitty.. its like they dont want repeat business for after this...
1) salad looked like someone took a shit of sauce on some old mixed lettuce...
(Iv worked in a restaurant, i wouldnt serve that shit lol)
2) Pasta = below average...
Not only did it take like 30-40minutes, it looked like a plate of pasta and someone scooped 1-2 scopes of sauce on it..
- Tasted like sauce you buy in jars/cans from superstore.. (overall I make better pasta at home)
3) ice cream yuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm
Anyways.. Food was good for the price
But now i know why people said the food sucks at spahgetti factory... XD
Never going back there agian.. unless they have another 1.75 day :O
