you can try your luck in store.. but as far as i remember.. there's no white ps3 controller in north america.. only black, blue, red, silver.. white atm is still exclusive to asia/japan.. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong..

I got mine from play-asia when they had this 10$ coupon like a year back. It ended up being the same price as a USDM controller haha. But yeah I went back to my crappy SixAxis nonrumble for MW2 and got used to the light weight and non vibbing distraction. Mostly for aesthetics is right...

its odd why north america would get some white controller, yet very limited amount to the point its ridiculous. its either yes we get it, or its either no we aint gonna carry any

There pretty sweet controllers and maybe its just me but the build on the white models seam abit better. I actually got mine imported from Japan and they actually feel different than the Black DualShock 3. More weight and more solid of a build imo.

i felt the same...but i doubt it just a psychological thing cause it looks nicer.
