Does anyone know of any good dentist's or would like to recommend their own in Vancouver, Burnaby or Coquitlam? Possibly Richmond as well.

I just got kicked out of Monarch and I'm looking for a good dentist :)

i go to eaglecreek dental on hastings and willingdon.. the receptionist is really nice and they do fillings and stuff real quick (only did one).. i didnt pay them for almost half a year (because my third party didnt go through at the time because they didnt have me enrolled as student) and they only gave me a courtesy call and that was it.. no repeated hassling..

i dont recommend the dentist office in metro near the bay.. the receptionist is a bitch and i cant understand a word she is saying cuz she is east indian.. and the dentist i got seemed like he didnt really care.

monarch is a pediatric dentist.. so when you're 17+ they suggest that you find another place.

Pretty much. I got kicked out when I was 20, so did my friend but his sister which is 22 right now(same age as me) is still currently at Monarch.. :(

Dr Houchmand

he's fantastic, been going to him for years. He's done dental surgery to me too.
Every time you speak with him he puts you at ease, yet he is extremely competent at what he does.
Has a nice office and friendly staff.

Just a question, are dentist pricing all the same (government standards) or does it very from each dentist?..

varies
there's a fee guide in place but the majority will charge more than the suggested fees

what makes a good dentist?
1) I always get a follow up call a few days before the appointment is coming up
2) i get a follow up call after a huge filling to ensure i'm doing ok.
3) there's a TV to watch during my fillings and i get something to bite onto so my mouth doesn't get sore from opening that wide.
4) i get a newletter from them
5) they do all the paper work for me so i don't need to claim shit with my employer.

(fyi, all these servives before, were not available from my previous dentist so it's like finding heaven when i discovered a place that's so much better)

this is who i go to.

I am currently looking for a good dentist too. Cost is not my concern here but the fact that they will do an excellent job.

Any suggestions in the Burnaby North area/Kits/DT area?

I can't recommend my dentist at Elgin Dental Group enough. They're all the way out in Poco though :(

my dentist is dr. fung. he's pretty good. staff there is friendly. the receptionist usually calls you when it's around 6 months and a day before your appointment. good for forgetful people like me.
