not quite..i believe free-roam only allows 16 people with posses of 2-8. so you can have different posses fighting each other..or against AI

So it's either single player free roam with computer ai everywhere, like a campaign. Or else you can do the exact same thing, but with friends in a posse? And also there are other game modes in which you can do posse vs posse?

sp is alright..i've only played a few mission. graphics is average like i expected (been too spoiled by the bigger ps exclusives)

mp i only tried for few minutes..you start with a mule lol..i doubt i'll go back to it until i finish singleplayer so i get a hang of the controls.

rockstar has pretty poor support for multiplayer around release dates...i remember it took me like few days to connect online when GTAIV first came out. so no surprise here for me (especially if you're on psn)

The game is awesome for just dicking around and exploring, even more so than I found with GTA. It just really brings home how nature filled America was, and how in such a short span of time, the industrialization has killed most of it off.

Multiplayer is a blast despite the bugs! The first thing me an a friend did was steal a buggy and started killing everything we could see while avoiding law enforcement. Pretty intense horse buggy action if I do say so myself.

Ugh, stupid auto-challenge in Soloman's Folly. I found the last piece for the outfit (it's in the basement of the destroyed house), but then I left after I killed all the guys and didn't take the wagon. Got back into town, noticed I had no save option, checked my journal and, sure enough, it won't let me save until I get that safe back to town. Go back to Soloman's Folly and it's too late, have to wait until morning (which is a long-ass time when you don't have the ability to camp or sleep, which progresses time by 6 hours).

Argh ...

I have 5 outfits now, at least ...

Cowboy Outfit, Gentleman's Attire, Elegant Suit, Walton's Gang Outfit, and Duster Coat.

Werd. As nice as it can be sometimes to ride the house and check out the scenery most of the time I can't stand just riding for minutes. No taxi? no problem! That's where the Campfire thing you buy at the store comes in hand to do fast traveling between places.

I was really looking forward to this game but its average at best. I had no problems with connecting to MP but the menus are shitty and when it kicks you back to single player it can get annoying. Controlls are meh and in free roam there isn't that much todo.

This game is awesome. Played it for about 20 hours and about 50% complete. If you stick to the main storyline, it will supposedly take you about 7 hours to complete. There are just so many side missions to do in this game.

Several things I've noticed while playing:

- I hogtied and put a lady on the train tracks and watched her get run over (there's an achievement for doing this)
- I killed a deer and was skinning it, next thing I know I was surrounded by a pack of wolves and got owned
- Watched a woman commit suicide and later her husband commits suicide beside her
- Me and my horse got owned by a grizzly bear, damn animals sneak up on you

If you don't want honor to go up or down, go to thieves landing and buy the bandana at the tailor.

As for the train, there's only one and if you look on the map, you can see where it currently is as shown with a red train marker

No mang the basic campsite you can use as many times as you want. The thing I like most is not only can you fast travel to a destination you've already discovered but you can also fast travel to a way point!

You have to play bonnie's mission to unlock the lasso
once you get the lasso you lasso people up and go up to them while holding R2 and press triangle to hogtie.

Somewhat correct...you have to create a R* account and agree to the terms. Afterwards, you will unlock the suit to be able to play at the high stakes table. To change into this suit, you have to save the game at a safehouse.

As for the suit that allows you to cheat in the game, you have to visit the tailor in Thieves Landing and purchase it.

I've found when I tie them up / knock them out, sometimes other townsfolk start to fight me. Almost like at a certain point, they forget about the attempted rape and just think I'm beating the shit out of some dude. Now I always shoot them, no hassle.

You have to wait until you completed the mission where you get the lasso. Then in another mission that rancher lady teaches you how to lasso.

Yup riding the horse sucked ass while travelling for me too. That's why I never did it and just used fast travel which was sweet. Like I said before not the biggest fan of the game and happily sold it to Vansterdam.

you can't be in a town or gang hide out when you use it..so just ride out to the outskirts of the town/hide out to enable it.

For Xbox press select then press RB once and hit A. You can fast travel to locations or waypoints. You can't fast travel while you're in or really close to a town, hideout etc. But in fact you can be pretty damn close. You just can't literally be at the outside entrance of lets say a town but if you just ride straight for like 5 seconds you will be far enough. Also if the land you're on isn't flat enough that can casue issues but once again just ride towards flatter land for like 5 seconds and you're good.

purple spots are area of interests by jobs given to you by strangers i believe. head there to finish the quest off. im assuming here you are asking the horse you are riding in multiplayer? if so head to outfitters and you can check out your mount there with other characters and titles.

if you're comparing to gtaIV then i disagree...if you're comparing GTA VC or SA then yes...but given this is their first time creating this game (the prequel to this was first started by capcom apparently) it's pretty damn great...i'm sure they will tweak the sequel of redemption to be even better like they are with their gta series

When I came back, the guy was sitting on someone's lap. It was really weird.. it looked like it was done on purpose, because the guy who was 'spooning' him had his hands on his lap, and looked like he was kissing his neck. But they made no mention of it. The quest bugged out too, so I had to come back after quitting the game.

Just now, I fetched someone's wagon for him. When I returned the wagon, I called my horse. The guy thanked me, gave me money, and my game reached "hero". Just then, my horse came barreling in, and crashed into the guy's wagon, tipping it over and killing his horse.

yaa there is some weird bugs in the game

when i walked out of the saloon in armadillo, 3 guys fall flat on their face but they were still floating

then someone random tried to rob my horse in the middle of the field, he bumped me off my horse and hop on, and then he just teleported back in the field stuck in running animation

and when i was accompanying West Dickens once during a mission, i accidentally bumped onto his horse carriage with my stallion and all off a sudden, Dickens flies off in the air and the game says i failed the mission for destroying his carriage

GTA4 didnt have this many bugs when it came out, the most common one was ppl stuck submerge on sidewalks, but then update eventually fixed it

did you finish finish the game. After the game is done, there is one FINAL purple dot and that was pretty cool. I thought the ending was interesting and it was just the right amount of hours put in.

i mean going to mexico was a nice touch to give it another spin. But after that, they went to town/city and that was almost getting to be boring. i thought they did a good job ending it where it was at.

It's pretty easy once you know where to shoot. Most hats you can shoot the brim on either side. Some hats if they are tall enough you can shoot the very top of it.
I think...it is Walton's gang that has thise black top hats. I suggest finding those guys and shooting the tops of the hat. I did it with the carano(sp?) rifle during a gang hideout. Another place I would suggest is in Armadillo(sp?), if you head into the bar building, sometime there will be two of those guys sitting at a table. And I find its easier without deadeye. unless you are good at aiming with the xbox/ps3 controllers.

If you find this challenge hard, wait till you get to the next one. Shoot hat off then disarm them in 3 seconds.

Get the bolt action rifle from tumbleweed hideout.

Clean house is just how fast u kill those guys before the second reinforcements come.

i dont think you can keep weapons...as you rank up and unlock challenges thats when you get more/better weapons.

the next best place i found is pike's basin, but it's 5 times along and 16XX-18XX XP and takes alot of running around VS 1:XX and 12XX XP

Having trouble getting the beads from the Nun. 100% complete single player, full honor and fame. No luck yet. I did kill a nun by accident that wanted to talk to me, ran her over with my horse. Hopefully it doesn't affect this.

honor and fame just comes with time..make sure you are consistent (ie not going on a rampage in one instance and trying to be a hero in the next mission).

i just got 100% and all singleplayer trophies
i spent 35 hours on that alone and you could easily cut that time down if you do all your challenges at once (keep them at the same ranks)...and dont go out of your way to get the 18 bear/10k cash/fame+honor trophies

most annoying one was definately 500 gattling gun/cannon kills trophy and the stupid ringer on horseshoe

i was out hunting a bear trying to knife it for the challenge . i found one and shot it down a bit before trying to lasso it... out of nowhere a boar came and charged me while i had the bear roped down... and then i ended up getting doubleteamed by a boar and bear.. WTF lol i was 1 stab away from killing the bear then the boar stormed me and then the bear clawed me.. harsh gay took me awhile to find him to

if you go to the bear icon on your map (it's like a small plateau where the snow meets dryland) there's shit loads of bears there.

the hardest challenge for me was finding the 3 foxes/skunk/racoons -.-

your probably talking about bearclaw camp, lol i swear i had em all except for 5 foxes but when i finished getting the foxes i realize i needed the skunk which was preety dam hard to find... they respawn quite frequently around armadillio by the stagecoach
