how difficult is it to get this job? cos ive read:
Qualifications/Academic Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent, preferably supplemented by courses in human behaviour and/or criminology. May require a Class 4 B.C. Driver's License; WorksafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 1. Must undergo and pass a Criminal Record Check. Must demonstrate an acceptable level of physical fitness.
...and was confused seeing as how i thought there would be more required in terms of schooling? seems as though you basically need grade 12 and pass: Correctional Officer’s Physical Abilities Test, or COPAT and youre in?
idk, someone in this field would be so kind as to shed some light in my direction, id be grateful (or is it just that simple?)
