I'm gonna be going away for 2 weeks in mid april for work and just wondering if anyone knw of any good dog boarding places around richmond/vancouver area. Preferably somewhere where the dog is out and interacting with a group of other dogs during the day and caged (possible home boarded) at night. I have a min pin thats not very social so hopefully that will help him be more accustomed to being with other dogs as well. So far i've only found this place on 5 road called Playful Paws. They're rate is $35 for 24 hours of boarding. Anyone have experience with them? thanks!
sorry, can't say anything either way. I would contact them though and go see the daycare facility and talk with the staff. Then go by the feeling you get when you leave. If you are uneasy, keep looking. If you were happy with how the staff was and the facility then it looks like a good choice
sounds good. i'll do that. ive found a few more in richmond. my only concern is my dogs semi agreessive towards other dogs. wonder if that'll be an issue. but perhaps 2 weeks of socializing with a dozen dogs would get him better lol.

if your dog is aggressive around other dogs a daycare setting is not going to take him in. It is too much of a liability. You are best to look for a kennel that will let him run during the day in a run next to other dogs to build up some social skills.
