The parents didn't see the gritty stuff until after the babysitter was hauled off by the cops, which was good. I agree with the dad, that he could've been the one in jail had they seen more footage before calling the authorities; There'd be a missing persons report with the babysitter's dismembered body scattered across the neighborhood... rightfully so.
