: Parking at the Renaissance Harbourside

Harro~

got a meeting tomorrow downtown at the Renaissance on west hastings, and they said they have parking @ $7/hour.

I wondering if anyone knows how the parking lot there is?

-if it's decently large enough I should be able to get a spot for a 3pm meeting, or if I should be scouting parking elsewhere?
-any huge speedbumps i can't clear? i can BARELY make lansdowne ones

It's either that or skytrain from around Brentwood Station, but for the $7 it'd cost me a round trip that way, I figured I may as well drive.

Serious replies only!

There is a parking lot on Hastings right before Thurlow its 3.50/hr. no speed bumps. you just have to go down the ramp, and come back up.

if you are coming from E-Hastings side, it'll be on your left hand side.

found this by using google streetview last week =).

hahaha too bad I don't work there anymore. Can't flip tickets.

if you're worry about bumps. Don't go to that lot. ramps on all the entrances and exit. steep ones where a stock ride height i can hit the scrape the tow hooks on some

I like to be prepared... and if the similar cost plays into it, I may as well drive. I did state that skytrain is one of my options...

Thanks for this, the only response on the thread (other than tiger_handheld's) that's anywhere near sincere.

thanks so much! i will actually use this tomorrow! how is the initial incline of the dip? cuz I noticed that going down my apartment, there are no speed bumps near the ramp, but the dip is enough to make me scrape my b-pipe

^ hmm. its not that bad def. manageable.

as soon as you enter, there is a small area to the left, maybe you can do a 3-pt turn n back down the ramp if its too much?

it's kind of like the superstore ramp when you enter from McKay ave. except no speed bumps or grooves.

oh that's nothing... my car's not even that low, it's the middle section i'm worried about, cuz my b-pipe is a t1r piece of garbage, and it's turned from an O into a D

XD thx again!

Hahaha, I guess he doesn't like hondas. He didn't harass Dakota when he used his driveway to turn around. Or he thought it was Morgan driving my fb lol.
