just saw it... a lot of shit packed into 2 hours, not as great as expected. it was rushed, and i think they could have squeezed it out to 2 movies or lengthen it to 3 hours or so

^ yeah, i watched 3D. the graphics were pretty good, and most of it was action. the plot was pretty junk though. Went to the 800 showing last night, which had no line up when i got there around 720. came out at 10, there were tons of ppl lining up for the 1045 showing lol

If I compare it to the 1981 version, this version sucks. If I never had watched the original, I may find it to be epic. The 3D effect is minimum. Could have seen it in 2D.

it took like 5 mins to introduce kraken to the final scene, and took like 20 seconds to finish him. after that, it took like 5 seconds to finish hades lol.

you guys are all so harsh.. I quite liked the movie, graphics i thought were great.. story line and last fight scenes I have to agree were quite short.. but other than that I thought it was pretty cool (8/10!)

Wish they didn't fricken rush the ending. It was going so good. Awesome movie nonetheless.

I was in Kelowna when this movie came out, so line ups weren't too bad. Movie stopped twice on me. What sucks is that it was during the climax too! Oh well, me and the GF got 2 free movie passes :thumbsup:

3D was not worth it.
What happened was, they didn't shoot the movie with the real-3D cameras. Instead they introduced the 3D after they produced the movie as special effects.

The movie wasn't that great either.

i went last night 10:45 show, we got there 10 minutes before it started and it practically empty, don't see it in 3D, its like watching harry potter 3D where only certain scene were 3D

and also, definitely do not expect a lot from the movie, wasn't that great, its like watching it in fast forward, and be prepared for some cheesy lines

I watched in 3D. It looked cool, and that was probably the only redeeming quality.

I watched the 1980 original in an English class, and the story was not as good in comparison.


The actor playing Perseus was probably the worst acting i've seen in the movie. The dad did way better, and he only gets 10 minutes of screen time.
Why the hell did they not use Posiedin at all. Seriously.

Watched it in 2D and thought it was good, although like others have said, the plot was lacking. I'm going to see it with a group of friends in 3D sometime soon, just because we were all in Greece recently.

half assed movie, had huge potential but the end result was wack. i loved the original and wish that this was more like it. 3d sucked balls, it made the whole picture very very dark and the 3d wasnt that great, heck the trailers had better 3d effects. i am officially done with crappy 3d, unless the movie is shot in 3d it isnt going to look that great. with the whole 3d hype they are converting movies to 3d in post production and im not buying it, clash of the titans is a perfect example of using 3d as a gimmick to get people to pay to see a subpar movie.
