I don't fail people, pretty much, ever. However, I failed you because of how turned off I was with your crappy video, the stupid woman in the video, and her ugly glasses.

No, this is what happens to black people in Beijing. I took this in the Forbidden City in Sept 2009; it was the ONE time my travel buddy (brown guy) wasn't the centre of attention during our entire trip.

They wouldn't leave the poor guy alone. :lol He was a good sport, although he didn't speak a lick of English or Mandarin.

Me: (to buddy) Hey dood, looks like you've been replaced. :lol
American tourist: [runs up to us] Excuse me, [points at black guy] is he some kind of movie star or something?
Me: No man, he's just black. :lol

You can't see it in the pic, but people were also grabbing him left right and centre to pose with him. You could also hear half the crowd pointing and yelling "Hei guei, hei guei!" :D

^^^ that happened to me when i was 3 in China... i was so scared remember smashing my face against my moms stomach to hide

and this guy went between my moms legs to take a pic of me, supposedly he was japanese though along with some others with cameras

happened a lot more times going there as i got older but whats stitched into my mind is that first time

still happens now when i speak a local dialect fluently without sounding like a forgeiner too
