This car is for sale again since I’ve decided to keep it last time. Winter wasn’t the best month to sell a car like this. *Just want to point out to those that don't know, automatic preludes are more likely to have their transmission break down in comparison to the 5-speed, keep that in mind when you buy one. I've had too many people lowballing me with auto preludes prices from Craigslist.

It comes with 3 keys: one regular, one valet and one learning key.

One accident: Rear-end related and it was all cosmetic (dented bumper) and scuffed one tail light. I have the pictures of the accident if you want them.

Anybody who knows anything about Preludes know that these "automatic" transmissions only go when people don't know how to drive a tripitronic transmission vehicle. A perfect example would be my car that I have for sale here on RevScene and on Craigslist which has 203000kms and the tripitronic transmission is perfectly fine. Your transmission can go just as easily if somebody drove it who didn't know how to drive a 5 speed. With that said, don't bash other people's cars in an attempt to sell yours. Thanks.

Thank you for replying to my thread, but I would prefer a private message for further concerns.

First off, my intentions were not to bash on other people's car in attempt in sell mine, but rather tired of phone calls stating how they can find a similar vehicle for $5000 on Craigslists. This is evident as I was one of the first Preludes posted for sale on the site before the automatic ones were listed.

Also, I am only stating the facts in regards to the automatic transmission problem in these Preludes. Even given the same driver under the same driving conditions, the automatic is more likely to fail. Period. I understand that you take good care of your vehicle, and I applaud you for that; however, I can guarantee the majority of buyers interested in the Prelude will not drive it purely for commuting purposes without using the Sport Shift feature.

Having that said, I will reword my writing to prevent any further problems relating to my "bashing" of others' vehicles.

Or you can just type in "Honda prelude auto" on Google , and the word "Problems" will be the first word to be filled in.
