so lately ive seen many cars with black roofs... i dnt know if its REAL CF or just painted black..

and i bought a used integra, but its a fixer... and painting is on the list..

so should i just paint it:

1 - ALL white (including side mouldings which is black)
2 - white with black roof
3 - all white but leave the mouldings black


this will be done at a bodyshop..

leave it oem, the teg's windshield is curved at the top if I remembered correctly which looks like ass when you have a black roof.

but like said above n-motion can vinyl your roof, as well as dhp can CF your roof.

its probably just gloss black vinyl as mentioned before.
i'll probably look good on your teg if you have other mods to go along with it.

white cars with a black roof look really good if you ask me, but really good on certain cars as opposed to other cars

Look good on certain cars, bad on some others. I'd say you paint it all white and vinyl top black so in case you sell in the future, the buyer can have it removed if he/she doesn't it.

I've seen a white C300 with a black vinyl roof. It was done very poorly and had so many air bubbles I swear you can take a white-out pen to connect the dots and make a funny picture.

Mixed feelings about it.
The only cars I can think of with CF hoods are the BMW's...

I personally think painting it black looks tacky, like how some people paint their hoods black when it's not even CF.

paint it white and then just put vinyl over it. if you change ur mind in the future and don't like the vinyl, you can just remove it. if its paint, you'll have to have it repainted

IMO depends on the paint condition of the entire car. If it's well taken care of then gloss black top would look AWSOME on white cars.

Do you think it doesn't change the appearance of the car at all and is used solely for performance? Do you think cars should only be modded for performance and not cosmetics?

There is a difference between modding for cosmetics, and modding for cosmetics pretending to have something you don't.
Just cause I like the look of a Type R badge, doesn't mean I'll slap one on my base model Integra.
Just cause I think the ZR-1 badge, seats, hood and front bumper look good on my vette, doesn't mean I'll put them on.

Then again, that's all in my own opinion, you are entitled to yours.
