After-tax income for gov't of Canada employees?

I was just wondering if anyone here works for the gov't of canada and how much of your pay goes to taxes/union fees.

Government employees get taxed the same as everyone else. Union dues depend on which union/local.

they hav to pay extra for pension though, dont they?

when i was still a fed govt employee, i paid the same tax (same tax rate), plus a bit union dues and yes i paid into pension too.

as far as I know only people that don't get income tax is ones that work for other country's embassy.. or working under the table ofcourse :P
