Originally purchased this 18-55 with the Nikon D40 from Best Buy in September 2008 and is still under Nikon's 5 year warranty.

I just upgraded to a Nikon D300s with the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC lens a month ago and haven't had a use for this lens since. This lens is flawless, works perfectly and has never been dropped.
