After trying everything under the sun I think it's time to back up and format. But I'm not sure what OS to install. It came with Vista but now I'm thinking windows 7 but I'm dot sure if my computer will handle it.

AMD 2650E 1.6 ghz
3 gis of ram
ATI Radeon x1250

What do yo think? Will Windows 7 run slower than Vista?

You'll be fine with Windows 7.

Windows 7 takes less to run than Windows Vista. It's also a much better OS. go 7.

Yep and spybot, Trojan remover, Ad aware, antivir, and a bunch of other stuff.
