Master BC Student Loan agreement = Canada Student Loan agreement ?

Last month I received a notification of assessment stating I had been approved for both BC & Canada student loan for the upcoming summer term, along with a Master BC Student Loan agreement.

I completed the Master BC Student Loan agreement and took it to canada post, however upon further reading of the StudentAid BC website the wording makes it sound like I should have also received a Canada Student Loan agreement.

Is the Master BC Student Loan agreement the same thing as the Canada Student Loan agreement?

I think the Master BC Student Loan Agreement and the Canada Student Loan Agreement are different. I'm not quite sure though. For myself I have the National Student Loans and the BC Student Loans.

It seems that your Master BC Student Loan agreement is for loans from that bureau. But like I said earlier, I'm not entirely sure so hopefully someone here can clarify.

So I made a few calls, and coincidently StudentAid BC told me that they just received confirmation of enrollment from my school today, which means that they will be mailing to me a Canada Student Loan agreement for me to complete and send back east.

Apparently the CSL requires absolute verification of course load from your school, so if you are wait-listed expect for the CSL portion to be delayed. For future reference, until you receive a Canada Student Agreement, the National Student Loan Service Centre will know nothing about you.
