Hey guys,

Just thought i'd let you guys know about EdgeWater Casino's Stadium Room if you didn't already know.

My friends and I watched all of the Canada Olympic games there and it was pretty sweet. And I just found out that they are playing all Canucks Games as well.

Features;
Admission - free

Stadium Specs: (Thanks to Greenstoner)
430-Person Capacity
290 Stadium-style Seats
Three 18-ft High Definition Projection Screens
State-of-the-Art Sound System
Theater Seating, Booths and Settee Seating

$3 beer
$2 hotdogs
and casino during intermissions (which isn't the best thing...my friend lost $250 the last time we went)
Free Parking (you don't have to pay and get reimbursed anymore, you just drive in)

Just thought some of you want a change in scene from bars/restaurants as I think this is way better. and it sure beats watching it at home, imo. It's not as busy as the olympics either so you don't need to come hours earlier.

ps. If you come i'll probably be in either a Linden Jersey or a Mogilny Jersey
pps. there is an old guy who wears brown and wears a brown hat that hates the canucks... he'll get mad at you if you stand up... no real point in telling you guys this, but I just think it's funny.

stadium is upstair and they usually set up a mini bar by the entrance in the stadium

I've watched some boxing and UFC events there before because a few girls I know are the ring card girls Edgewater hires for the events and its ok. I prefer the atmosphere and talent in a lounge/sports bar like Forum, Redcard or even Joeys more.

Everytime I've watched an event at Stadium Club, a lot of crowd seems to be fairly older, like 50+ lol.

haha yeah, i think the oldies from the casino roll in from time to time just to sit and enjoy the game.

there were only about 30-40 people the last time i went though...
so the atmosphere in regards to people are lacking. but, my friends and I still enjoyed ourselves.

it's not that busy at all. you'll have no trouble getting in if you come right at 7pm. it didn't fill up on monday. there were lots of seats left. not really the same as olympics but still pretty good imo.

no, it's the older white orca jersey with an "A" on it.
I would love to get the black skate jersey but it's really expensive...

first row are loungy couches kinda of. then in front of that is the walking floor
then the stage, then the screens.

just some random tips...

at the end of each period the first person to buy three beers ($9) gets a free grey canucks 2009 (09 is printed on the shirt) t-shirt, size large. It's a decent work out t-shirt or for your gf when she sleeps.

if you want pop/soda DO NOT buy it in the stadium... it's $1 for a small cup. Downstairs in the cafeteria it's $1.60 for a 591ml bottle...

Do not buy the fried rice downstairs in the cafe, it's really really salty.

for canucks games it doesn't really matter, it's not that busy. you'll get a seat for sure...
but for UFC, i would say go at least 1hour before.

parking is $40 but you get a $40 voucher, you can just go to the cashier and cash it in. Guess they want you to actually go inside the casino and gamble.
