Post count?

Question about the post count number in the sig area:

How is this counted? It seems (to me, who is sometimes dumb) that it does not always reflect the posts that I post (Yo dawg, I heard you like to post).

I only ask because I measure my worth by my internet presence.

Certain forums don't add to your total (Fight Club would likely be the one that affects you the most... )
