Anybody ever heard of this water "Perfect Water"?
http://www.drinkperfectwater.com/
My friend showed me this the other day whilst we were at the gym, claiming that the water can make me stretch and perform better, and offered me a bottle.
So I decided to take it and drink it. Amazingly enough I actually was able to perform better.
I was actually amazed.
Does anybody have a possible explanation to how this works?
Do you think its psychological? I don't think it is... cause I was able to stretch further, and have more strength in benching.
Seem legit?
Thanks.

You knew you were drinking it before working out. This makes your judgment biased.

I'm confused.
I was already working out, then got offered the bottle.
Before and After the water did have a increase in capability.
I was told what the water would do, but experienced it first hand. I don't think the power of our brains can psychologically manipulate that. I've tried many times to push myself in the gym, but have had little success.

Regardless of if you had the water before or during your work out. You still knew this water was supposedly supposed to do something. Welcome to the placebo effect.

Isn't the reaction to this water far too quick? You JUST drank some, it wouldn't effect you that fast....

Blahh I met the guy who created this water and I had to listen to him babble on about it. Personally I think its just clever marketing, I've gone through 2 cases worth (free btw) and seriously the only thing different was I pissed more than usual :lol
I'll stick to my G2 Gatorade and regular water thank you.

It took about 3 or 4 minutes.
The bottle claims to be hydrolized or something so that your body absorbs it a lot faster.

It's all in your mind. If someone had just switched your water with this without telling you, you wouldn't have noticed anything.
That doesn't make you stupid btw, just human.
What makes you stupid is that you believe bullshit products like this actually do anything for real, and argue about it when people explain why you felt anything from it.
I :lol 'ed at hydrolized water.

You can easily test this. Two identical water bottles. Mark them A and B. Have a friend fill with tap water in one and perfect water in the other.
Do workout with bottle A. Note if you're stronger.
Do workout with bottle B. Note if you're stronger.
Repeat until you have a proper sample size.
I'll bet money that the results will be 50-50 or close to.
I feel dumber now.

I can tell the difference between tap water and bottled water in taste..
I'd love to find out where this guy is and have him do a placebo test with multiple people. I doubt he would ever go for it though.

Anybody ever heard of this water "Perfect Water"?
I've got something better than "Perfect Water" I'd like to show you.
It's dehydrated water. It's much lighter than the equivalent amount of regular water, so you won't get tired on your way to the gym. Interested?
