Regular earthquakes are a good thing.

Each time an earthquake strikes it basically resets the plates. Longer you go without an earthquake the more pressure builds up between the plates.

just because it was a sunny day doesnt mean it wasnt a mudslide...that size of mountain probably absorbed so much water over the years, and with the fractures inside of it and mud veins it probably was just a ticking time bomb
