I'm talking about the grilled wings, whats the recipe? I googled everything from japanese wings recipe, robata recipe, and it keeps giving me results of the karagge (sp) deep friend ones.

Im thinking of using their marinate style and just tossing them on the bbq and get a similar style of wings..

THANKS

The tebasaki recipe I have consists of sake, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper ideally marinated overnight. I would adjust the ratios based on personal taste though sometimes I do mix in a little brown sugar or honey to it.

take away the sake, it totally sound like a chinese/hk way of marinating wings.!!!

Or try using mirin since it's sweet and also gives a bit of alcohol taste.
