VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of masturbating at the Urban Fare grocery store in Yaletown on Saturday. He was later seen talking with a child outside the Roundhouse Community Centre.

VPD say a man was seen inside the Urban Fare around 8 p.m. with his hand down his pants and possibly masturbating while looking out onto the street towards the community centre. Staff told the man to leave the store. A few minutes later he was seen talking with an 8 – 12 year old child across the street.

Police were called, but the man was not located. Witnesses told police the man may have loitered around the area for several hours.

The man is described as white, late 30’s, approximately 6 feet tall and having light brown or reddish short hair, a goatee, and glasses. He was wearing a white baseball hat with a logo, a white t-shirt, and khaki pants.

Anyone with information about the identity of this man is asked to call Vancouver Police at 604-717-2634 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

obviously you aren't their target buyer, you dont go there to buy stuff thats offered at other stores, you buy the gourmet cheese, specialty desserts, breads, sauces, and meats not sold in other stores that are specially shipped to them from different cities around the world.

Plus they are the only store that i've seen matsutake mushrooms sold there.
