The #1 ad would've been so much better if they didn't cheese it up at the end. The first three minutes were amazing...but it's hard to go wrong with Pachelbel's Canon in D Major (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachelbel%27s_Canon)...which is pretty much one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever created.

Perhaps not as epic as some of the ads here but I think they missed the ads for the original Gears of War...with Mad World. I couldn't believe how amazing that ad was...with the soft music contrasting the war torn world and Marcus fighting that big ass spider thing.

I hate Halo 3 but goddamn, those ads were just gripping. Made you feel like Master Chief was a real war hero.
