Yeah park somewhere else.. My car gets pelted quite often in the summer when my car's always clean. Keep quick detailer and some microfibers in your car to wipe it off asap.

kinda thread jacking, but lemme just show you guys a pic of what happened to me last last winter.
just a regular winter day. was about to head up to grouse for some snowboarding.
stop by mcdicks to get a breakfast muffin, eating it while i'm driving. then BAM!!!
scared the fuck outta me i almost dropped my sausage and egg mcmuffin.
bird flew into my windshield and got stuck in my windshield wipers...it was still alive at the moment... i remembered screaming/yelling FKKK HOLY SHTTTT WTFFF AGHHH while its beaks were still opening and closing at the time. it died sometime just before i pulled over :( then i just got it out with a stick and buried it in some snow.
(fuck, i just tried looking for the pic through GBs worth of external harddrives for 2 hours and can't find the damn pic! i'll ask my friend if she still has the pic tomorrow, but it's a really priceless pic!!)

a microfiber would be better but i only do this when the car has been recently washed.
like i washed it yesterday and i woke up to a splat on my window and door today.
pretty sure the paper towels didnt do any harm considering the car was clean.

if theres dirt on the car, i wont really touch it with anything.
