New Zealand police have arrested two men and a woman after a man claimed he was bitten on the neck and his blood drunk in a bizarre vampire-style attack.

Xenia Borichevsky, 19, and James Brooks, 22, appeared in court in Wellington on Wednesday and James Orr, 19, appeared on Thursday in connection with the Feb. 20 attack, the Dominion Post newspaper reported.

They were all charged with wounding with the intent to render a man unconscious.

The victim, who was not named, was attacked while walking in Wellington, the capital city.

He passed out after the attack and spent a week in the hospital with "deep bites" to his body, including his neck and chest, that became infected.

One of the accused, Brooks, told the Dominion Post that the three did bite the victim after he "hit on" Borichevsky, and that blood was drunk.

"Yeah, I bit a guy," Brooks told the paper after his hearing Wednesday. "He hit on my missus. My girlfriend and my mate were biting him. I was angry with him, so I used it as an excuse."

But he said drinking blood "wasn't my agenda," telling the paper, "Do I look like a vampire? I'm out during the daytime."

The Dominion Post also reported that Orr refers to himself as "the.vampire.marius" from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles on his Facebook page.

Orr, who looked pale, also responded: "Do I look like a vampire?" when confronted by a reporter after Thursday's hearing, before refusing to comment further.

there's 3 types.

the one that takes energy from people or crowds they are known as Psi's

the one that drinks blood from voluntary donor are sang or sanguinarians. these vampires believe they need to drink blood because they have some sort of medical condition or something. I don't really know if this is psycho somatic, but i'm guessing it is.

and there's the type that take in energy from others and also drink blood.


like i said, its a subculture..... you don't have to believe them. that's up to you. i just know they are real. but within this subculture like i mentioned earlier, there's a lot of posers
