I believe that Tony Stark is smarter than Bruce Wayne in some areas, such as inventing; compare their weapons and suits. Although I do think Bruce Wayne has more intelligence when it comes to business and strategizing. In a fight Ironman might have more advanced and powerful weapons/suit, but batman is so clever he will always be 2 steps ahead of him

Although when it comes to overall intelligenge, bruce wayne > tony stark

batman has the advantage only because he's so dedicated towards his work, and he's cynical of everything. he's paranoid about everything, and he doesnt trust anyone.
