I just went to Chura in downtown, it's great there :) I used to go there every month but tried to find a cheaper place, and came back unsatisfied with every other place. $28+tip.

$7, $10 including tip..
haha its in richmond, on Westminster.... its cheap... although the cut is ok, but for $7 i cant complain... i only get the basic mens hair cut.. none of the that gay hairstyle that the hongers use that covers 1/4 of your face... man i hate that...
I go to Mint in Port Moody. A bit pricey ($35) but a good cut by some hot stylists. Im thinking of just buzzing my hair from now on with the fade on the sides/back. Great clips and those places fine for that?

yup, they use a thread to clean up your eye brows, aka monobrow.
My haircut is relatively simple so I like it. She's quite young so I think she can work with young peoples hairs, colouring, etc.

Well, I think the daughter is better than her mom. I had both cut my hair and i like the daughter more.
Cost is 9 dollars but giving a 10, you can call it a day.

My gf didn't want me getting a $10 cut, anymore. I go to Samson, now. It's actually run out of a residence, but Sharon, the stylist/owner, converted the den into a studio. It's setup is like other stylists, only in a smaller space. Pricing is on par with other places for haircuts. My girlfriend introduced me, since her mom and her sister has been going there for awhile.
I gotten a few haircuts, and recently, highlights. What I like is her attention to detail. She will make sure her work is perfect before taking off your smock. She is definitely in her element. She's also a block away from my apartment.

Horrible recommendation. Probably the worse hair cut I've ever had - fuck this place. I usually bring a picture with me to show them how I want it but after looking at the picture, the lady pretty much made up her own style. Not only did she fuck my hair up, my shirt and shoes were covered in hair. I'm never going back to place and neither should any of you.

I find it's cheapest just not to cut your hair, i haven't gotten a haircut since Mid-October now. I used to go to Joyce Hair Design, it's on Joyce and Crowley Dr. Ask for Jenna, It's about $20, $25 after tip. Pretty much all Korean staff there.

I wash and condition my hair every night so it's fine?? Yea they have some good stylists there I would recommend especially if you want a Korean-like haircut. Just make sure you don't get "Judy" (she's the Chinese lady that works there, gives your typical Chinatown haircut) or THE OWNER, typical greedy owner will mess up your hair BAD. You may have some trouble getting your point across so be prepared, Some of their English there is pretty poor.

underground shops are quite nice, ones that are being held in houses and such, those are the ones who aren't so snobby and they let you pick what kind of hair that you want without making you feel self-conscious. atleast for some .

i gave them a try a few days ago and got the daughter to cut my hair. (very friendly)
they are great! the place is nothing fancy, but if you need a basic cut done, this would be the place!
i use to go to misako for a basic mens cut and would pay almost $40 to get a hair cut + shampoo twice a month, just because i've been going there forever...i'm definitely changing to suki's, $10 a cut, $20, $24 including tips a month, few blocks from where i live, i'm sold!

Anyone know a good place that cuts asian hair in Langley or Abbotsford?
Nothing fancy just a 0.5 fade on the side and back and a cut and thin out on the top.
Sounds simple but you won't believe how many times the person cutting my hair not get it right because they are not familiar with "asian hair".
