They're sooooo good and light! Got them before a friend at Oakley quit. Have 2 sets of lenses (VR28 Polaraized + G30s for golf). I also have the Nanowire 4.0s which were an excellent investment as well (Black iridium polarized)

Having tried tons in store, I can't get over how good the Oakley polarized lenses are. Yeah they may not be fashionable, but it's tough to find a better performing lens.

Just picked up a pair of carbon fibre 8303's. I'm trying to get used to the brown polarized lens in them after about 6 years with Oakley Black Iridium Bottlecaps. It really tones down blues but god does it ever make greens pop. Good golf glasses if nothing else.

awsome experiance personally, buddy answered all my questions i had regarding the glasses within an hour of emailing him, he shipped them the day i ordered and emailed me confirming model style, and they arrived within 4 days from italy

For FedEx, use the Fedex International Priority method if you don't want to pay a brokerage fee. You may pay a bit more for Priority than Ground. But it comes out cheaper in the end since Fedex will charge you extra for the brokerage fee if you choose the Ground Method.

I have never paid tax on a product I purchased on Ebay (except for the rare occasion when the seller is from Canada, and I had to pay 5% GST).

The trick is to ONLY order from Ebay sellers that ship via USPS Priority Mail International. USPS, as far as I know, does not charge a brokerage fee.

They arrived via USPS, and I paid absolutely no duties, taxes, or brokerage fees. The mailman simply handed me the package, I signed for it, and that was that. After shipping fees and currency conversion, they cost exactly $202. (In Sunglass Hut, locally, the same glasses were $421 after tax, so I saved $219 by buying online).

FYI, buying off Ebay is safe 99% of the time if you purchase from reputable sellers with excellent feedback ratings. I prefer 10,000+ transactions with a 98%+ feedback rating. There's absolutely no way the merchandise is fake if they meet that criteria, and even if it is you'll be able to tell immediately upon opening the box. Advertising fake goods as authentic and ripping people off is a surefire way to get banned from Ebay.

It's funny how sunglasses can change your outlook/mood depending on the lense, my old guccis were not polarized but had an awsome lense and it was very bright and enhanced the lighting, my new guccis have a nice polarized lense and everything is very mellow and soft lol

Evidences come in both "western" and "eastern" (people with lower nose bridges, ie. asians) fits. But i believe this is only for the white and black ones. Seasonal style ones only come in western.

A&P Optical on Cambie and 18th has good prices. Like 2 stores beside Gloucester. You can bargain a bit down for most frames, pretty much 40-50% off.

purchased mine @ the royalty optical on robson.....overall...pretty nice experience,i tried asking for a lower price and all they told me was "it's already on sale..."...haha..

You can just tell by the quality of everything. Box, cloth, authenticity card, the glasses itself.. The materials on fakes feel VERY cheap. Super light and brittle plastic, flimsy metal.. Also the joints. Fakes will feel loose and flimsy. Real pairs are super solid and sturdy.. after all, retail is like 3, 4, 500+.

I think with those reputable places you'd be pretty safe, as they've been around a long time.. so you don't really have to worry. Fake sunglasses are pretty obvious.. if stores were selling them, they'd be shut down rather quickly..
