well 1 of my eyes is red when i woke up and had slight bit of guck around it.. any reccomendations of what to do to cure it? also i have some Patanol .1% from perscribtion long time ago, will this cure it?

Go see your doctor. They'll write you a prescription for Chloramphenicol eye drops.
If it gets more severe, it'll feel like you have an eyelash stuck in your eye. What it actually is though, are the bacteria eating into the inside of your eyelid and forming an ulcer.
