There are plenty of private rentals for houses owned by a family in Whistler. If you go with a group of people, say around 10, you can get it down to pretty damn cheap. I recently booked a place in Whistler for 10 ppl and it was about $150 for 3 nights 4 days.

just came back from whistler from the long weekend, me and 6 other friends rented a house for a $150 a person with a $2500 down payment for 3 nights, 4 days. place was in snowberry villa
