no one is gonna say it's great food, but for something under $5, you get variety of choices and it's something that fills you up, what more can you ask for?

The food there is good, especially for the price you pay.

If my dad and I are working OT while my brother and sister are at school late, and my mom's pressed for time, once in a while, she'll pick up a few dishes of food from Kent's Kitchen for dinner. Price you pay for the quality (LOL!) of food you get (compared to other places) puts you in a difficult situation to complain. :p

On Keefer Street, between Main and Gore smack in the middle of Chinatown.

The Keefer location packs it IN compared to the Victoria one IMO.

+1 to this.

it's cheaper than a big extra meal.

for $5, if you expect to get superb high quality food then you're a dumbass.

hm.. didn't know there was one on keefer. I've only been to the one on 41st and victoria.

I always pay a little more to upgrade the plain rice into either fried rice or noodles.

that's why their food tastes so great, a little mix of rat poop

i'd be more scared about dying from athlerosclerosis than to catch an infection from the rodents.

i ate dry fried beef noodles from kent's yesterday. good price and filling. tastes better than what you would expect for whgat you pay. but more greasy than i'd like for the dish. XO sauce/chili oil makes it good.

if rats like it, that's a sign of being good food!

nowhere can really beat $4.50 including tax!

their bbq pork and cold shit is not cheap though.

i used to eat at this place back when chinatown wasn't a ghosttown (when i was very little)

but now it is overly greasy fast food that I would have once in a bluemoon

kent's kitchen is the best for hangovers or when you're pressed for time. It's not gourmet food so if you need to compare, think of it as a richmond public mkt food court.

i thought the food is of high quality...at least i know the greens are.

They sell so much and sell so fast..u know it is fresh at the least. way better than a burger from mcdick's for 5$. the portions are huge..u could split it into 2 meals. i love kent's kitchen
