I won't say much but it's an entertaining movie. I wouldn't say the chemistry between the characters were great but the acting was good. It's a fun movie to watch that's filled with action. I would give it 7.5/10. Just go watch it and judge for yourself. I usually don't like to read reviews as it's based towards their personal taste.

Yea, I like movies with a bit more plot so I could do without watching this one, but I did enjoy while watching it. kept you entertained and had some funny parts.

A few things I can already complain about. Mostly anachronisms.

WTF TUESDAY? They didn't have fucking Tuesdays during this time. The names of weekdays came from the Anglo-Saxons.

...nor did they have numbers like the ones on the back of the jockeys in the ostrich race.

Hinges were invented real early but metal ones like the one used in that rather modern looking nutcracker probably weren't made until a few hundred years ago.

Yeah it was quite a horrible movie. Probably a 4/10 for me, maybe a 5. It was a waste of money (especially considering I saw it at the most expensive imax theatre in hong kong :(), but not where I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. Also, imax ruined it for me

i didn't like the movie at all. The action scenes weren't that good and it was just a lot of film editing. I don't like the cast and I didn't like the plot either.

well when was the timelline for the movie? if i recall the game correctly everyone was muslim and they had an empire setup so its probably well after the 700s and into the 1200 CE

and hinges have been discovered as early as 1600BCE

if ye wanted to complain about something ask why all these persians have british accents :D

the acrobatics were pretty accurate imo. storywise wasn't great but it was what I expected it to be. After all, the storyline in the games aren't that great either. 8/10 for me.

Watched the movie yesterday.
Didn't really care too much for the cast.
I kept picturing Jake as a jarhead. He didn't seem to fit the role as Dastan.

The plot was pretty stupid and predictable, not to mention a ton of plot holes. Which is bound to happen
when there's mediocre storywriting with a plot that involves time.

When important characters started dying so easily without even putting up a decent fight, and the movie revolves around TIME,
it's obvious time will get turned back. Everyone comes back to life because nothing in the movie really took place in that sense.
And a happy ending where the princess falls for the protagonist even after he invaded her city and captured her. And if you recall,
the first time around, she hated him. Change of heart because time was turned back, and it was near the end of the movie?

if you dont look too much into it its actually a decent movie..though the redundant foreshadowing to the already quite predictable ending became disturbing after about 2/3 into the film
