People are going there to pay their respect. Some soldiers bodies do not get found and this gives their family's a place to go.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier has been there forever. I remember my parents taking me to visit back in 1991.

Not everyone who's killed in war is lucky enough to be buried somewhere with a marker.
