i actually gave drake the benefit of the doubt after listening to his mixtapes but this album kind of failed to deliver imo. so many songs sound too similar and what the fuck? is this bed time music? too dreamy. not my cup of tea

I finally got to listen to the CD front to back.

I have to agree with the above comment the most. For the hype he did not deliver. With that being said, overall the CD was between alright and good. No where close to great. I'm in no rush to listen to it again, so ya no replay value.

I've made a Drake CD and I would put none of the tracks from his CD on my mix CD.

After listening to the album a few more times the more and more I like it. It may not be the best ever but it shows the promise that drake can deliver. It is just more of a chill album than I expected, and less catchy hooks, which is not a bad thing.

I could care less if the numbers are inflated. The album is good to me and that's why I bought it. I'm sure either way Drake will have a great career. A while back Neilsen Soundscan and Def Jam got busted for double scanning recording sales, now that's inflation!

Also look at Wale's debut album, amazing project, IMHO it's way better than Drakes album but it bricked when it came to sales.
