everyone needs H2O everyday and just wondering what is the best way to transport water since that shit is kinda heavy and a bitch to bring home i hate it.. well i have been picking up water bottles in about like 35 packs at super store for like 10 bucks a pack after taxes and this crap is heavy, i am tireed of bringing home heavy packs of water that doesnt last more than a week.. is there an easier way around this? drink tap water? boil water takes to long, maybe filtering tap water? or there is those big ass jugs of water which looks prety damn heavy and would also need a machine to dispence it.. also has anyone ever heard of bottled water being dirty? yeah i am kinda a lazy ass..

LM tap water is bulk free and hasn't killed anyone yet and is oft sought after by our southern neighbors. Secondly it is naturally fortified by minerals and nutrients beneficial for healthy living.

Our tap water is just as good as a lot of bottled water especially with the new treatment plant so stop being a bitch.

The members that say their tap water taste funny...it could be your pipes.

Get a Brita filter, or do what a lot of people do, boil your water and cool it, pour it in a glass container and voila! If you want really good water get a water ionizer.

Or order a water dispenser from Canadian Springs or something....but waste of money

We use the Wa2! reverse osmosis system - it's awesome. You'll find that you can't drink tap water ever again.

Tap.

Don't be such a pussy. Vancouver tap water is among the cleanest in the world.

Plus...bottled water usually costs more than...gas.

FYI, they are no longer using Reverse Osmosis. They used to many years ago but they have switched everyone over to "the best micro filter" now. They did it without telling anyone so dont' be alarmed when they say, "oh, we replaced with something a lot 'better' ".

they did it to keep their cost down.

It's pretty check, if u want another spout under your sink, it's about 29 dollars.

I suggest you buying one rather than renting.

Long story short, just like Canadian springs, they filter Vancouver tap water thru filters, then passes through reverse Osmosis and the polishes it off with a carbon filter, it takes away the chlorine tastes.

Tap water tastes really good here. Been to Vegas and their water tastes absolutely awful. Wasnt there a study done recently that show bottled water contains more bateria than tap water?

there are a few myths to this but i'll share some.

there was a study done where some cheap asses re-uses the same water bottle when the water bottle are more for 1 time use (nestea, kirkland) and in turn builds up bacterias.

there are other ones but it's more related to the plastic materials used for the bottles. i'll try to find the articles.

We used to use Brita Water Filter, where you just fill the top up with water, and over time it'll filter the water, and move it to the bottom on the jug. But imo it tasted pretty much the same as tap water, just maybe a bit sweeter. I think it's just a psychological thing, thinking that your water's cleaner.

I recently bought for my family an Espring Water Filter, and honestly love it. Definitely taste a significant difference from Brita.

$20/month I think. The owner was a client of mine, so I got a bit of a discount.

Errrr...they still use reverse osmosis....their low-end filter is not.

personally I prefer the taste of tap water versus having it boiled.

I just have this dislike for the taste of boiled water, but that's just me.

i bought 24x591ml Aquafina from T&T Ottawa couple of weeks ago for only $6.29. it was on sale.

i have only been drinking bottled water since i got here in May... i tried that britta filter and it makes no difference.

i even tried the big gallon dispencer thing in the office, it still gives an after taste.

so i have been buying Aquafina or Dasani... it's hard to find a good deal though, at least there's 0% tax and $0 deposit fees in Ontario/Quebec for bottled water.

lol vegas tap water tastes like sewage :Puke:

That's because they recycle there water. The water someone uses to shower with gets recycled into the water coming out of a sink tap. First thing to do when you get to Vegas is buy a case of water.

+1 to the water in China.

it tasted like the water that we had when we had the ground collapsed at our water reservoir.

but it wasn't too bad as long as I used cold water to brush my teeth.
