Dammit... I really like Lightroom, I just wish I had a machine fast enough to make it usable.

I like the video downloading fcn. It certainly caters to what the DSLR market is like now.

here is just a quick test... I just put all the sharpening and noise reduction to 100 and changed the colours a bit... It could probably be sharper with better adjustments but the picture is soft to begin with.

btw, I'm using a quad-core machine with 6GB DDR3 RAM and had lag editing the pictures. Everything I adjust I had to wait 2/3 seconds before it showed up... compared to the previous 2.7 there was no lag at all.

ouch. that's pretty bad.... it'll be useless to most ppl if they dont fix this.

that sharpening really messed up the picture i think. made the bokeh look real fuked up.

yeah it was just a random picture just to test it out, + it was bad already so whatever... just from a crappy xti with 50mm.

and yeah LR3 is really slow, this is the only program I have come across so far my computer can't handle that well...

i think ur original pic looks alot better than what LR3 did to it.
