i like the guy. he deserves to do whatever he likes now because of what he has contributed to the community and to BC news. maybe flying back and forth is his way of enjoying life.

It's gotta be harder for him too.

Imagine if you did something for 30 years and then suddenly had to stop. This guy was pretty much on everybody's TV every night for so many years. Suddenly having that taken away from you is hard especially when you don't see the same people that you've worked with and befriended for so many years.

at the time when he retired I'm pretty sure no one knew he'd be flying in between Victoria and Vancouver to do two news casts a night lol
