There's nothing special about solving a Rubiks cube. Congratulations, you can memorize an algorithm. You can train any monkey to do that.

^ I can't do it...that means NO one CAN!

Those who disagree, please defend your argument that being able to complete a Rubik's cube is a sign of genius.

Anyone can do the layer methods and corners methods. Since she isn't speed cubing, (which can use some insane algorithms which can't be memorized), she is simply a product of someone showing her how its done, then having her practice it over and over.

wat were you doing at 3 years old? to be able to memorize an algorithm at that age seems pretty impressive to me.

if its only a 5 step algorithm that repeats itself, maybe not. i dont know but im sure its more than that right?

It's just memorization. Her parents more than likely trained her, and pretty intensely if we're gonna profile here. Personally, I can't solve a rubiks cube. I've also never read or been taught how to do it. I'm sure if someone showed me and I practice for a couple hours i'd have it down pack.

it also looked in the video that within the first 3-5 seconds, one side has three solid rows of colours. looked to me like it was handed to her partially finished....

her hand movement IS WAY to fast for a kid her age...

and i dont think she is 3.. she looks 4 maybe 5...

but pretty impressive.. my method is...... peeling the stickers and re-applying it.. haha

I could solve the thing in under two minutes too.
One minute to take the cube apart another minute to put it back together

I did that as a kid, those coloured squares are just stickers anyways.

maybe if it was back in the 80's and no one knew how to do it! Kids can do it in under 10 seconds now!
